Live | Laugh | Photograph
I was called a ‘tom boy’ growing up on a cattle ranch west of Calgary. Mom couldn’t get me in a dress, but I loved my cowboy boots and baseball caps. Not much has changed. Horses, cowboys, farming, beautiful skies and country backroads make me happy.
I’m not sure how I got the photography bug. I think it started quietly in my soul as a kid spending hours reading the American Quarter Horse Journal. Looking at the ads and photos of beautiful horses and cowboys. I would read them over and over, and think about what caught my eye the most. Years later, I started picking up the camera more and more to capture images that I wanted for work. What I was looking for wasn’t out there, and it was difficult to find a photographer who knew much about agriculture.
My full-time job continues to keep me busy in agriculture with a focus in marketing. My spare time involves finding those authentic moments that define western lifestyle, farming and ranching. I enjoy sharing what I see through my camera lens with others. It’s my passion. I’ve enjoyed photographing and doing work with many clients including the Calgary Stampede, Hi-Pro Feeds, Agriculture for Life, BayerCrop Science, Syngenta Canada Inc., Trouw Nutrition, and Corteva.
If you see something you like, let me know. If you have a vison or an idea, I would love to work with you to get the results you want. Let’s capture the integrity, excitement, and splendor of the agriculture industry, and share it with the rest of the world. I also photograph families and seniors with or without your four-legged fur babies. Send me a quick email so that we can connect.
