Days Gone By

Two old wooden grain bins sit on green brass.

These grain bins played a big role in storing a farmer’s crop after harvest decades ago. There are no shingles left on these ones, blown away by the prairie winds. Some may think these are deserted eye sores. For me, they are a symbol of agriculture’s past, and the hard work it took to grow a crop during those times.¬†There are memories like these that pepper the prairie landscape across western Canada.
